Jaime Hayon was born in Spain in 1974 and draws inspiration from an eclectic range of cultural sources — baroque, circus, skateboard culture — resulting in work that carries warmth, humor, and playfulness in equal measure. His relationship with Fritz Hansen began in 2011 and has produced some of the collection's most enduringly beloved pieces, from decorative objects to furniture that defines a room.
